Poetic Philosophy episode 22 -- Poetry

by Robert G Parent

This podcast is all about poetry and finding poetry. In this show, I wrote a poem for pictures that I took on my May 8, 2021 hike up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It took me a few weeks to find the poems that were lost in the woods but once I found them I recorded them and put them with the photos that inspired the poems.

This is an exercise anyone can do if they want to write a poem, song, or even tell a story even it that story is short. You can find all sorts of stuff in the White Mountains or any mountain or scenes where you live, so go out and have an adventure this Memorial Day weekend and, don't forget to think about those who fought and died for the freedom we enjoy in this country.

In New Hampshire our states motto is a quote by General John Stark, which is written on his statue in Stark Park in Manchester, New Hampshire. Here's the quote:

"Live free or die, death is not the worst of evils."

Meditate on the quote and see what comes up. Have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends and if you see any space aliens have fun with them too, if they know how to have fun.

Poetic Philosophy is a show where I talk about my worldview from a poetic perspective using entertainment, news, politics, spirituality or anything else that I can think about in the moment. I love to travel and may use soundseeing in my show as I try and stay creative in the magic of life and enjoy the journey of life because we only go around life once, unless you believe in reincarnation.

Change is constant. We may not like the type of change but, it happens to teach us something new. This is what poet's do, learn and write about the moments of life.

Stay Creative in the Magic of Life
